Job Summary

Do you have a passion for trade promotions and a desire for driving meaningful business results? Reporting to the Manager of Trade Finance, you’ll assist in financial analysis, accounting, deductions clearing, month-end close activities, and reporting for trade promotions and customer compliance activities. In this highly visible role, you have the opportunity to engage in cross-functional collaboration with Sales, AR/AP, and Operations, as well as with external customers and third party analytics and technology partners.

Essential Responsibilities

• Help build and manage reports and KPI dashboards for deductions and trade promotions performance.
• Support month-end financial reporting, trade reconciliation, and customer post-audits.
• Assist in resolving invalid deductions and customers chargebacks while maintaining positive relationships with external customers and relevant third-party partners.
• Conduct ad hoc post-promotional event analyses including trends, white space, pricing elasticity, product mix, etc.
• Gather and organize various data sets (e.g. customer competitor data, syndicated data, market research).

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance, Analytics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial modeling, pricing, reporting, and data analytics, preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods.
• Experience working with brokers (e.g. Acosta) and customer portals (e.g. Retail Link, Vendor Central) and 3rd party analytic tools (i.e. Stat Recovery, SupplyPike, HighRadius).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Prior experience with SAP required. Fiori, or Akeron experience is a plus. HighRadius, Akeron or any TPM platform experience is a plus.
• Financial modeling in Excel (vlookups, nested cells, pivot tables).
• PowerBi or any dashboarding app, and SQL is a plus.
• Comfortable collaborating with various stakeholder groups, giving presentations in-person and virtually.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and self-directed, excelling independently and as a team-player.
• Strong in time management, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands

• Professional office environment, sedentary in nature.
• Routinely use standard office equipment such as (laptop computers, monitors/keyboards, printers, and telephones).
• Processes information and communicates effectively with others.
