Job Description

IntelliTech is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Recruiter Intern to join our team. As a Technical Recruiter Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and assist in the full lifecycle of recruiting—from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding. This role offers hands-on experience with a variety of technical roles in fields such as software engineering, data analytics, cloud solutions, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • ​​​​​​​ Candidate Sourcing & Outreach: Leverage job boards, social media, and university partnerships to identify and engage top technical talent.
  • Screening & Assessment: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers.
  • Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Administrative Support: Update and maintain applicant tracking systems (ATS), schedule interviews, and handle various logistical tasks.
  • Market Research: Assist in researching hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor insights to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers and senior recruiters to understand technical requirements and team needs.
  • Employer Branding: Contribute to IntelliTech’s social media presence and branding efforts at career fairs and networking events.

Requirements:

  • Current Enrollment: Pursuing (or recently completed) a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Interest in Tech: Demonstrated interest in technology and software development, with the ability to quickly learn technical terminology.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for both candidate and stakeholder engagement.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities, schedule interviews, and keep track of candidate pipelines.
  • Attention to Detail: Aptitude for accurately maintaining applicant information and ensuring timely follow-up with candidates.
  • Team Player: Willingness to learn and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with ATS: Experience using applicant tracking systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, or similar tools.
  • Basic Tech Knowledge: Understanding of tech stacks, coding languages, or cloud platforms.
  • Social Media Recruiting: Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter or other social platforms for candidate sourcing.
  • Campus Recruiting Experience: Participation in university career events or organizations.

  • Be ready to discuss your interest in tech and how you stay updated on industry trends.
  • Be prepared to talk through your organizational and communication strategies for managing multiple candidates and job requisitions.

  • Share examples of how you’ve tackled challenges or learned new skills quickly.
