The primary responsibility of the Scheduler/Planner is to manage the production scheduling, raw material consumption, purchase orders, overall inventories, and aged inventory of board for the production departments.

  • Responsible for scheduling and optimum sequencing of production for Sheeting and Printing, and support downstream departments
  • Schedules all aspects of manufacturing and machine time
  • Minimize raw material and WIP inventory
  • Works as a strategic business partner with Sales, Operations, and Procurement
  • Plans and orders raw material from approved vendors to support the production schedules for assigned departments
  • Monitors and adjusts production schedules based on operational performance, material availability, or changes from the customer
  • Responsible for communicating all schedule changes to appropriate leadership and ensuring raw materials and tools are available to support change
  • Responsible for compliance with all facility food safety, food defense, and quality policies and procedures to ensure product safety
Required Skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Required Experience
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • SAP experience a plus
  • 3+ years manufacturing experience
