The Palletizer Operator is responsible for operating the control panel for
automatic palletizing equipment to sort, transfer, and stack to pallets the cases of
finished product. The operator is responsible for reading packaging specifications to
ensure correct pallet type and arrangement of cases onto pallet matches
specification. They must understand and align business operations as they execute their
role to exceed customer expectations and align with operational objectives.
Sitting or standing, depending on changing job assignment, for extended periods.
Ability to perform consistent and repetitive tasks.
Physical and visual activities that are commonly associated with the performance
of the functions of this job:
Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying (up to 50 lbs.), pushing,
pulling, twisting (re-piling loads), kneeling, bending, reaching, going up
and downstairs, visual acuity (near and far).
Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.
Lift Operation with clamp and fork attachments.
Use of various hand and electrical tools and equipment.
Work in areas of fluctuating temperature.
Other:
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Conveyor experience and PLC (Programmable Logistics Controllers) is a plus.
Must be able to work other shifts if needed and perform overtime work as
required.
Must have excellent communication skills, communicating with people at all
levels throughout the organization.
Qualified candidates will be mechanically inclined, solution oriented and some
computer knowledge.
