Minimum Qualifications

The most qualified candidates will possess:

• A high school degree or equivalent
• Experience in filing and data entry

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently in a busy office setting with a kind and calm demeanor. This is an entry-level position. Previous administrative support experience is a plus.

Duties Description

The New York State Senate Production Services team is seeking customer service-oriented candidates with strong phone skills to serve as an Office Assistant.


The Office Assistant supports data/order entry and print shop staff to produce materials for Senate offices to use and distribute throughout the year.

Additional Comments

This is a full-time position, 9.00AM to 5.00PM Monday through Friday - 35 hours per week - located in Albany, NY.


The starting salary is $34,000 to $36,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
