Job Description:
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health care through individual, family, and group counseling. You will have the opportunity to use your expertise to conduct clinical interviews, assessments, and interventions while offering support to clients in crisis situations. Your role will involve diagnosing mental health conditions, developing effective treatment plans, and helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate client progress, discuss treatment approaches, and contribute to the overall care and recovery of patients. The role requires the ability to analyze and manage crisis situations effectively and maintain confidentiality while providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic assessments to develop treatment and recovery plans for clients and their families.
Interview patients and their family members to gather detailed history, including social, medical, employment, and mental health backgrounds.
Provide crisis intervention, treatment, case management, referrals, and other mental health services.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to review cases, assess treatment approaches, and prepare progress reports.
Develop individual and group treatment plans that address mental, emotional, and family challenges.
Provide ongoing clinical assessments, treatment planning, and clinical interventions for patients and families.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical case histories for evaluation and treatment progress.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree from an accredited institution in marriage, family, and child counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy.
Required Licensure:
Current licensure in the state of Georgia, such as:
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Compensation:
Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
