The ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCR) is offering a paid Business Analyst internship in Bismarck, ND, with the Division of Administrative Services. The position offers a starting salary of $18/hour and may count toward educational credit hours. This is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in criminal justice and state government. Summary of Work In this role you will gain broad knowledge of the North Dakota DOCR, criminal justice system and state government.You will work on technical skills and develop at least one PowerBi dashboard. Intern will research, review, and propose solutions to project objectives. Interns will assist in data analysis, project management, and provide oversight on assigned projects.
Student Requirements To be eligible for a North Dakota State Government Stipend Student Internship, a student:
Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical program in the United States, and
Must be at least of sophomore standing by the beginning of the internship (or must have completed the first year of a vocational/technical program by the beginning of the internship), and
Must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Must be working in an internship that aligns with the student's academic major or career goals.
