Mechanical Assembler Location: Spring Valley, CA 91978
Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler with experience in water treatment equipment, breweries, and oil & gas fabrication/assembly . This role involves assembling and fabricating plastic and metal piping systems , performing metal tube bending , and working with various materials like CPVC, PVC, HDPE, stainless steel, and carbon steel .

Key Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to assemble equipment.
• Utilize hand tools (wrenches, grinders, drills, impact drills).
• Layout and fit up pipe supports and uni-strut structures .
• Operate forklifts, gantry cranes, bandsaws, and chop saws .
• Work with PVC, HDPE, stainless steel, and carbon steel piping .
• Troubleshoot, rework, and repair assembled equipment as needed.
• Assist with shipping & receiving tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
1-2 years of pipe fitting experience is a must.
Ability to perform layout and take-offs .

Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills .
Basic reading and computer skills .
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment .

Welding and rigging experience is a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lift 30-50 lbs .
• Perform repetitive tasks with manual dexterity .
• Work with precise vision requirements (close, distance, color, depth perception).
